The
opening of Tanabata Festival featuring Janus Manabu Ono (story
telling) and Jendela Ide Kids Percussions.
Later,
for 3 days, children are preparing origami to decorate the
festival and made tanzaku, a piece of paper where people can
write their wish on. This project was guided by Mizuho Matsunaga.
Emakimono
workshop divided children into several groups and each group
has to make story and the illustration on paper. They also
have to practice the narration and background music.
Children
in music workshop have to make their-own instrument. They
collected any possible thing to make music, that included
tin cans, wires, plastic containers, metal structures and
bamboo. The children also practiced to perform an ensemble.
